Ever since Bill Fenwick Plumbing opened for business in 1969, it has been a family affair. Our humble beginnings started with my mother, Beverly Fenwick, answering phone calls out of our home while my father, Bill Fenwick Sr., was working out in the field. What was once a two-man shop has now grown into a full-service plumbing company with over 40 employees. With my father’s vision as a driving force behind our growth and commitment, we aren’t planning on slowing down anytime soon. We are proud to announce that this month marks Bill Fenwick Plumbing’s 45th anniversary!

In 1970, my father decided it was time to move the business out of the house and into a small plumbing shop with a warehouse. It didn’t take long to outgrow this location, and in 1977 we moved to Beach Boulevard where we spent over 36 years growing and developing the business. In 2000, I bought the business from my dad, and in November of 2013, we moved to our current location on Columbia Park Drive East. Today, we have helped thousands of satisfied customers in the Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Johns and Nocatee areas.

Bill Fenwick Plumbing is, and will always be, a family owned and operated business.  My brother, George Fenwick, is in charge of the remodeling division, and Mike Fenwick, my second brother, is a state certified plumbing contractor.  My children, Trey Fenwick and Brooke Downing, along with George’s son, Conner Fenwick, are among the third generation to work for the family business.  We are also excited for Brooke’s new son, Fenwick Downing, who will be the first to represent the fourth generation for Bill Fenwick Plumbing.

In an effort for constant improvement, I meet monthly with four other local businesses (All About BlindsSnyder Heating and Air ConditioningAmerican Electrical, and First Coast Home Pros) to discuss and share ideas that help improve the way we do business. This “round table” meeting allows us to share stories and learn from each other’s mistakes. Whether the meeting is about improving the customer experience or streamlining internal processes, the customer is always the driving force behind these meetings and Fenwick Plumbing’s overall desire to keep improving.

This year we are especially thankful for all of our customers and everyone who trusts in us for their expert plumbing needs. Serving all of Jacksonville, Florida wouldn’t be possible without our customer support and our family and friends who work so hard for this company. As a promise to our valued customers, the longstanding history of quality work will be continued throughout the second, third, and fourth generations.

Our 45th anniversary is both a blessing and a reminder of all of the hard work that our family has put into this business.
